Q) Once I list my property how long does it take to actually appear on the VacationAtMyHome.com website?

A) A quality control person will review your listing ad if you created it. Once the ad is approved it will be posted within 24 hrs. If VAMH creates your ad it will take up to 5 business days to complete. If you want to be able to update your calendar and make your own changes we suggest that you create your own ad allowing you to have your own password to your listing. Click the List Property Tab on the Home Page to get started.

Q) Once I list my property can I make changes to my property profile?

A) Once you have listed a property you can make changes at any time. To make changes simply login to your account and click the appropriate edit button. If you would like VAMH to create your property's ad you will have to send VAMH and changes by email.

Q) Is there a way to change the way my property appears on the actual page once it is set up initially?

A) Each property that is listed on VacationAtMyHome.com is set up in the same format so that the travelers are accustomed to the way each property is laid out. This process makes each visit for the client easy and convenient.

Q) What type of photos do you recommend of my property for your website?

A) We recommend using a digital camera with at least 5 pixels. Also a bright sunny day will showcase your property the best. When taking pictures inside please remember to turn on some lights and to allow natural sunlight in for best results.

Q) How do I change my property profile picture?

A) Once you login simply click on the Property link, then the List link underneath that. Then click the Edit icon to change photos. If VAMH created your listing then you will have to send any new pics to Support@VacationAtMyHome and the Ad Department will make the changes for you.

Q) Am I able to add multiple properties under one listing?

a) You can only profile one rental per listing. This gives the traveler the ability to do advanced searches based on the amenities of your home. If your are a property manager or own multiple homes please call for discount pricing.

Q) Am I able to edit my listing and substitute it with a different rental?

A) No. Each rental is identified through a listing number therefore changing this listing for another rental will only cause confusion. If you are interested in listing another property please purchase a new listing. If you have more than 3 properties contact VacationAtMyHome.com for discount pricing at Support@VacationAtMyHome.com


Q) What do I do incase I forget my password?

A) Click the forgot password link and a new one will be sent to you.


Q) How do I take advantage of the Lifetime Listing Plan?

A) The Lifetime Listing Plan pays Vacation At My Home Inc (VAMH) on performance. VAMH will be the point of contact on each listing so VAMH can track the inquiries and calls. A VAMH rep will then contact the home owner to to make sure the requested dates are available. Once VAMH has a firm commitment from the renter a referral sheet will be passed along to the home owner for them to screen the client, get the lease agreement signed, and to collect the payment. VAMH will be paid 20% of the listed rental amount by the home owner of the property once a non-refundable payment by the renter is secure or within 5 business days of the renters arrival. Please Note: this program is only available to the first 25 Homes in any given city. So please call 702-823-1118 today to see if there is any Lifetime Listing Plans available for your city.

Q) What service do you recommend using for accepting credit card payments from renters?

A) For property owners and managers looking to accept credit cards VAMH recommends using Pay Pal (www.PayPal.com ). There are a couple of options to consider. Most home owners that do not have their own website use the Email payment solution or the Virtual Terminal.  If you have any questions about package options contact a representative. The sign up process only takes a few minutes.
