Razor Cave Farm is an 18 acre working horse farm nestled on the Park Avenue of the Horsing industry, near Spendthrift Farm, Cobra Farm, Castlen Lyons, and Gainesway Farm just to name a few. It is ideal for those looking for the true Bluegrass experience.

Nestled in the heart of horse country on historic Iron Works Pike in Lexington, KY, Razor Cave is in very close proximity to the KY Horse Park, Fasig Tipton, the Ky Horse Center and Keeneland It is a great option for those who are in for the sales, the races, equestrian events, breeding and training or just plain old sightseeing. Razor Cave is on the route of almost every scenic driving tour in the Bluegrass.

All of Lexington, Paris, Georgetown, Versailles, and Cincinnati are easily accessible because of its convenient location.

Razor Cave is just down the road from the historic home of Thomas Jefferson's attorney general John Breckenridge, as well as many other historical sites. The home itself dates back to pre-civil war times. The cave located on-site was used as a hide-out on the Underground Railroad.

Property Description

The front porch swing offers a beautiful view of horse farms in every direction. You can watch the horses across the street frolic in the sunset. The back of the home features a Pennsylvania blue stone patio that open that opens up into the rest of Razor Cave Farm. You may take a stroll down to the cave on the property.

Each and every room in the house boasts beautiful panoramic views of the Bluegrass. The main level of the house has a fully stocked kitchen with a copper sink,counter with bar stools opening into the upstairs living room with LCD television.The conservatory is our electronic free zone stocked with board games, a game table featuring chess,checkers backgammon and Monopoly, a piano, a collection of leather bound books and cozy seating for looking out the front windows and relaxing. The sunroom walks out onto the Pennsylvania Blue stone patio on the back of the house. The sports bar in the east wing has 46 inch LCD TV with satellite, bar, and billiards.

The top floor has a master king suite with a LCD TV and private bathroom. There are two queen bedrooms featuring picturesque views. There is a full bath in the hallway. The barracks bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom/twin on top and another twin bed with additional twin trundle, and television with sattelite and Playstation 2.

The Grotto level of the Manor has a home theater with reclining sofas, a kitchenette, downstairs master bedroom with a king size bed,a bathroom with clawfood tub, a men's half bathroom and convertible dining/poker table.

NO LOUD OUTDOOR PARTIES OR FEEDING, PETTING OR OTHER CONTACT WITH ANY HORSES IN RESIDENCE AT ANY FARM ON IRON WORKS PIKE WILL BE TOLERATED. THOROBRED HORSES ARE NOT PETS, MANY ARE YOUNG AND CAN BE DANGEROUS, NOT TO MENTION THE ACTUAL VALUE OF SUCH ANIMALS TO THERE OWNERS. PRIVATE BEHIND THE SCENES HORSE FARM TOURS CAN BE ARRANGED THROUGH A WONDERFUL SERVICE BY A LOCAL ENTREPRENUER.
