Area description

Enjoy swimming, skiing, boating, fishing, golfing and tennis. Swing on tree swing, rest in the hammock and play on the level yard. Grocery stores, shopping centers and restaurants are nearby. Carowinds Amusement/Water Park, Discovery Place and Charlotte Speedway are all located less than an hours drive away.

Activities: Enjoy a 20 minute video of the making of the lake at the Energy Explorium along with exhibits explaining the generation of electric power. Visit historic downtown Moorewville with 100 year old Turner's Hardware. Catch a sunset cruise on a riverboat, the Catawba Queen at Queen's Landing. At Queen's Landing you can also dine and enjoy outdoor entertainment which includes bumper boats, two putt putt courses, tennis courts and weekly summertime bands. Lake Norman State Park is nearby with hiking trails and picnic areas. The Park has 13 miles of shoreline for boating access. NASCAR garaes and Museums are located in Mooresville. Large shopping areas are only minutes away. Charlotte and Concord are close, including Concord Mills.

Cable TV with DVD and VHF in Great room. Cable TV in Master bedroom. Upstairs hosts a sitting area with cable TV. Use area for games, puzzles, reading and more. Enjoy outside leisure on the tree swing and nap in the hammock. Play croquet, badminton or frisbee in the large, level waterfront yard. Enjoy time on the large deck, pier and floating dock. You'll savor a great view along with an excellent spot for swimming, fishing and relaxing. Bring your boat or rent a pontoon from a local marina and enjoy Lake Norman's 32,000 acres with 520-mile shoreline. Two golf courses are located within 5-minute drive. One is in the neighborhood. Also, many of the NASCAR garages are located in Mooresville, as well as a NASCAR museum.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, cookware, utensils, electric range/oven, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, food processor and toaster oven. Linens not provided but can be obtained for a fee. 3 Color TVs with cable, DVD, VCR, telephone, washer/dryer, central heat and AC, gas grill, charcoal smoker, hammock, tree swing.
