Property Description

Spacious lakefront home in a beautiful easy walk to lake setting. Home is located on quite rural road, great for walking or biking. Perfect for families, reunions, fishing trips or just a great getaway. Boaters launch your boat 1 time @ ramp 1/2 mile down road and tie up to your own private dock. Rent a boat @ marina or just sun, swim, read a book or even nap. Do some cooking in well stocked kit. Retail stores, restaurants, gas and alternate marinas within 10-20 min. drive. Do some shopping or take in a show @ local live theater-Pioneer Playhouse or book a national act @ Norton Center for the Arts @ Centre College in Danville. World Equestrian games are 45min. away. History abounds & several tea rooms are close by. Civil War buffs - Perryville battlefield is 30 min. drive. Motorcyclist check out our local Harley shop in Burgin & ride some excellent scenic 2-lane roads.

Bath #1 is a large full bath with tub/shower combo full vanity & extra large closet for all your guests toiletries. Great plush towels and bath mats are a necessity to any vacation and they are provided with this home. There are 20 bath towels 10 hand towels and 20 washcloths plus 2 bath mats and 6 beach towels to keep those loads of laundry to a minimum. Bath #2 is located in unfinished basement and features a full shower, vanity and toilet. Definitely not as plush but very large & cozy. Great for coming when coming from lake or just can't get in to upstairs bath. Hope to have washer & dryer installed in this bath very soon & will post when available.

Large master with plenty of closet space, tv, cable & dvd, full dresser with mirror, top quality mattress & bedding with view of lake also. Second bedroom is average size but with similar amenities as Master. Third bedroom is 'sunroom' on back of home featuring an ethan allen sleeper sofa with awesome view of lake, no closet but full chest & mirror (my personal favorite room). 4th bedroom is in unfinished basement which is fully furnished with kitchenette including full fridge, microwave, coffemaker, table & chairs, sofa, chair & tv & cable, full bath, full view of lake and exit to side yard. My family love's it & men, women & youth alike retreat to this 1,000 sq. ft. open space. it is large but cozy. Check site soon for pic's of this great area.

Also have a great tent pad w/firepit and small dome tent w/ air mattress & lantern available. Picnic table & charcoal grill are on the way. Large banquet tables available. Firepit on deck. Bench @ water's edge and also @ base of deck.Kitchen is fully stocked with complete set of cookware, cookie sheets, cake pans, pie plates, serving bowls & platters, crockpot oodles of plates, glasses, martini glasses, wine glasses, and plenty of stock pots, knives, corkscrews, can openers, grillware, & lots of tea towels & dish cloths. I use this house quite often & like to have my necessities plus some. Vacuum & cleaning supplies are supplied for the long-term vacationer. Cable on all 4 tv's including large screen. 2 dvd players and 1 vcr supplied also. There are also numerous books and games ( children & adults) cookbooks and magazines. Also an interesting array of videos and dvd's.
